A Cookie Monster Book!

by Brittany from South Carolina

Our favorite book that promotes healthy habits and food is Sesame Street’s, Cookie’s Guessing Game About Food.

Although you would probably think this book is about COOKIES, it actually displays a variety of different foods on each page. Cookie Monster describes the food item and the reader identifies it. This book not only gives families the opportunity to read together but also helps youngsters learn about different types of food.

My three year old son remembers these items when we go grocery shopping and becomes anxious to try them. It’s also fun to see which items he can point out and if he recognizes the colors.

This is a hardback book so it’s great for toddlers and younger kids. It’s also a short read and has many colors to keep everyone engaged. Plus, who doesn’t love a good Sesame Street book! 🍪
